Our joy, our comfort, our home
Published on August 3, 2007 By jesseledesma In Politics
If you were raised right, you take care of your home. You mop and broom. You pick up, organize, and vacuum the rooms. The restroom is the cleanest room in the house. All your dishes are washed. In addition, you decorate, repair fixtures, and add new fixtures.

It is your home and you take pride. When you talk to people, you talk with love about how much care you have invested in your home. You even bore some people about all the plans you have for you home.

Moreover, you have the right to be boastful and proud. You work hard to pay for it and you invest a lot of energy in the care of your home.

A home also has other commodities. It is your place of refuge. After the day out in the world confronting stressors you can look forward to relaxing and enjoying a good meal in your home, to mention resting your weary head in your clean and comfortable bed.

Now America is our home. We should invest at least as much effort in keeping her clean, presentable, and functional as we do in our individual homes.

Right now she needs us a lot. Politicians have really fooled them selves in to thinking that they do not have to listen to the voter.

In reality why should they listen? The majority does not vote. The majority lets the news media tell them what to feel and think.

When did the news media become an expert in anything? The majority in the news media does not even have a college degree.

Therefore, when they pretend to tell us how it is best to take care of our homes, should we really listen to them? The answer is no. The regular news (abc, cbs, nbc, cnn, etc) has a liberal agenda.

When it comes to the care of our home (the USA) we should listen to our selves. Everyone wants a government that works. However, just like cleaning and caring for or home we have to clean and care for American government.

2008 will present the opportunity for Americans to do some well-needed spring-cleaning. I will never support a democrat. Republicans need to show that they can respect the hard working tax paying citizen.

I think in the next 15 months Americans can use the internet to educate them selves on the candidates and put some responsible and respectful people in congress and the presidency.

Again Hillary lies and is willing to do anything to get elected. Borak this week has shown how inexperienced he is to be president with his comments on Pakistan and the use of nuclear weapons.

We all know who the leadership of Pakistan is in the world. We also know that he is not in any way comparable to Sadam. Sometimes even though you don’t like the person’s morality and practice you put up with them because what they give you is more than what they take.

In addition, president Bush has been more than direct and blunt with Mr. Pervez Musharaf about what we expect in regards to Al Qaeda in the mountain region of Pakistan. Any one not aware of this fact again is showing his inexperience.

As far as nuclear weapons are concerned, let the people of the world know that American people are a peaceful people. However, if you come looking for Americans to do them harm don’t be surprised if you find your self looking at the business end of a nuclear war head.

America is beautiful. It is where we earn our living. It is where we enjoy the company of our friends and family. It is where we dream and build with our inspiration. It is also where after a hard day of confronting life we go to relax, be comforted, and rest our weary heads.

Therefore, her value is priceless and if you think we are going to let any one take her from us well you have another thing coming.

I here, today, pledge my unconditional support for the USA. If you love her too register to vote, get educated on the issues and candidates, and come 2008 vote those miserable self-serving politicians out of existence.

To little-whip: My life story does not make what is good in America any less valueable. I do not understand how you can read an article praising America for her greatness and only get out of it a need to spew evil racial hatred.

What is wrong with America sir is that to many people find it easy to shirk their responsability by voting and spend their time only criticising.

I hope one day you grow up and realize how great this country is.

Oh and be careful about accusing people of commiting felonies. You just might find yourself in court to justify your claims.

My bathrooms are not the cleanest rooms in my house. Not even close.

I'd rather be in court to justify my claims than in court to disprove someone else's.

little whip what stand did you take? If you have read my articles you very well know that I have the right to be in the country. In addition, you did what every one else does when they do not have an argument. You resort to stereotyping and personal attacks.

Yes I was born in Mexico. That was not by choice. However, by choice I am not the typical hispanic zombie brainwashed by the democratic party running around saying "I will obey".

Morever, I have never violated any of the USA's voting laws. You seen to think all people from Mexico break laws.

You cannot even read well. This article is about what is good in America and the need to protect it.

However, all you got out of it was the need to call the author an illegal allien who violates voting laws.

No one sir. Absolutely no one can question my loyalty to America. My heart is red, white, and blue.

Furhtermore, learn to write. Sentences start with capital letters and end with some kind of punctuation.

sadly, you chose to confirm, yet once again, the extent of your idiocy by denying us any excuse to overlook your use of the acronym lol (laughing out loud) more than once per instance at the conclusion of an allegedly laugh-worthy statement. it's not the same as chuckle chuckle chuckle, hah hah hah, etc.

to whom are they listening then? the minority who do not let the news media tell them what to think? the minority who do vote? are they the same group or ?

do you read anything you write before posting it?

can you provide any evidence to support your claim the majority of journalists working for any major media outlet (and let's include fox in that category to make it easier for you) aren't degreed?

I can't speak for Tex, but frankly it's a little creepy even if it is a joke. It's like saying, "I want to wear your skin as a mask! LOL!"

I don't know any journalists who aren't tertiary educated.

Gotta agree with kingbee and cacto on this one.

Just because they have a degree doesn't make them anything special. But as far as I know, a degree's almost a necessity to get your foot in the door in that field.

Hey dummy it is not bigotry to citicize your own people. In addition, for your information the American governent after a meeting with a judge gave me the right to stay in this country.

Again, to you all Mexicans can to America illegally; all Mexicans are criminals. Tell me that is not racist.
