Aren’t the parallels between Obama and his VP pick interesting?  Obama would have us believe he could attend a church for more than 20 years and not know the real politics of his pastor.  A radical like William Ayres throws a Obama a fund raising dinner, but Obama claims he does not have any thing other than a “passing acquaintance” relationship with Ayres.  Mr Biden lies about his college career and it is presented as eccentricities.

     I am not surprised that a liar would select a liar as his running mate for the presidency.  In fact, if one remembers it was Biden who started to promote the “clean and articulate” Obama.  I do not think this was a mistake.  Let me see if I can put this conspiracy together.  The power structure of the democrat party became obsessed with finding some one who could unseat Bush right after Bush won in 2004.  I guess democrats do not know that the American constitution does not allow for a third term for Bush.

     However, as the interested democrat party members whirled around racking their brains, Biden cooked up the plan of promoting an unfamiliar person and moving him up to democratic nomination for the 2008 USA presidency.  For his efforts Biden would receive the VP spot.  It is sort of like getting elected president without actually running for the presidency, which Biden could never win.  See, people think Obama is going to be running Biden, because they percieve Obama as being in charge and a free and independent agent.  But actually the only reason Obama is were he is because Biden used all his contacts to manipulate almost everyone to infuse Obama as the democrat nominee.

     Hillary lost because Biden was moving all the levers behind the scenes to make her loose.  The news media started promoting Obama shamelessly because of Biden calling people and telling them of the “great new political wonder”.  The voters saw the image that Biden’s image consultants told Biden Obama needed in order to win, “clean and articulate”.  That’s right this slip of the tongue came right out of a think thank, not Biden’s head.

     Why can’t Biden win? That is easy.  He is ugly. I know in intellectual and academic debate words that appear like personal attacks are not allowed.  However, let me make my case.  Biden has spent decades making his constituents love him while at the same time he has been making the rest of America hate him.  The nasty, yelling, vulgar critic of the Republicans has been Biden.  When he starts to snarl and attack Republicans, people have an adverse reaction to Biden.  This is what I would call “bad presentation”.  In other words his body language gives a bad first impression.

     The major gift to McCain is that most Americans who pay attention and vote already have Biden pretty well figured out.  Again, Biden has been out making a spectacle of himself for over 3 decades.  That is a lot of time to make lots of Americans hate him.  Biden may track good locally.  However, he tracks bad nationally.  People in America walk around saying Bill Bennet is great intellectual.  Not many would dispose this honor on Biden.  In my opinion, he is seen as a “slimy little weasel”.

     Of course for me the obvious question was why would Obama pick a person with such bad public relations to be his team mate in a challenge that is all about image?  The answer I have come up with is that Obama has been controlled by Biden all this time and Biden promised Obama he could get Obama the presidency if Obama made Biden his vice presidential choice.

     Okay, you all are ready to call me a loon.  In politics, everything is researched. No one breaths until a survey is taken.  You mean to tell me that all the John and Jane public said Biden would be an excellent choice for Obama?  I don’t think so.  Biden is everything Obama and company criticize McCain of being in his life.  Biden is old. Biden has been in congress longer than McCain.  Biden has not crossed any isle to work for Americans in the spirit of cooperation.

     Here is the real kicker.  Obama is super inexperienced.  Biden, though a liberal cool-aid drinker, is more prepared to be president than Obama.  Any one else but me find this irony, ironic?  The vice presidential pick is more prepared to be president than the candidate for president.  Interesting, huh?  One of the greatest criticisms of Obama is that he is inexperienced.  Next to his running mate, Obama looks even more inexperienced.

     Well it does not matter.  A while ago I wrote about swing voters need to see sincerity and honor in the person they vote for as president.  It is a trust issues.  Not really an issues, issue.  Obama has already violated the trust of the people he hoped would vote for him.  In addition, now his added to his campaign some one who lies more than him.  Again, it is a trust thing.  non-cool- aid drinkers want to have an impression that the person they  are going to vote for is honest.  This is conditioned in to the voter by the news media working hard at finding every flaw they can in politicians and reporting on it.  Either way Obama is already seen as dishonest person. No one has managed to make McCain appear dishonest.

     What does this mean for McCain?  The election is his to loose.  In addition, he is going to have to appear just as he did in that forum at pastor Rick Warren’s church.  I do not mean structure his answers to fit the expectations of the audience.  Let’s face it all politicians structure their answers in order to meet the expectations of the audience.  No what I mean is that Mr. McCain is going to have to appear confident and knowledge about the conservative “mantra”.

     I was mediating on how the issue for me has metamorphosed in to the protection of the compact between American government and Americans that deals with property rights.  No one wants to work hard, succeed, and then have government steal their profits.  I know statements like taking away the oil company profits give some people erroneousness feelings.  However, give the impression that government does not respect property rights in America and many will move their investments out of America.

     Countries like Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba, Russia, and many countries in the African continent suffer because investors will not invest in areas where they fear the governments of those regions.  It is not in the interest of America to have investors afraid to invest in America.  This is why America needs a strong economy and a government that is trusted to respect the property rights of the citizens.  Every person who goes to work, follows the law, raises his or her children well, pays their bills, and votes is an American investor.  I do not think politicians want to mess with these people.
