There will be no friendship between the American people and Iraq.

Let me say that I will never disagree with president Bush. I think it is to easy to get on the petty criticizing cause you can ban wagon.

In fact, I do no think I have seen a presidency where two seconds after they person was elected the criticisms did not start.

Today, I heard a radio interview with the founder of focus on the family and the Mr. Brenner who was in charge of Iraq for a while after the invasion.

Because of some of his public statements, I considered him enemy of presidents Bush’s efforts in Iraq. Today’s interview offered no new information for me to change my perception of Mr. Brenner.

I did get reminded of September 11, 2001. I was in my taxi when some that we all consider crazy (she was a taxi driver) can to the stand I work at and said some thing life” some just flew two airplanes in to the twin towers. America in under attack.”

Hearing these men, talk about 911 brought me back to the day when I finally tuned in to the human price. There was a day when I saw the pain and anguish of the people dealing with this catastrophe.

At this time in my life, I was so in to my fight for survival that I can say I was not tuned in to the significance of the events and consequent actions by Mr. Bush.

I have before 911 can to the conclusion that there was evil in this world and that this evil was beginning to threaten all of humanity.

Today, I can say that is was important to do what was necessary to rein in Mr. Hussein.

I have a question for all the critics of Bush. What do you think Sadam Hussien would be doing in Iraq today if the American military had not unseated him from power?

Here is another question. Do you really believe he would be there in Iraq just minding his own business and being a good neighbor to the international community while no one supervised him and he did not have to account to any one?

I consider Sadam and people like him a very serious threat. The price to take him out of power was a great one.

I do not believe that invading Iraq was an error. I sense that this evil of Islamic terrorist will be with us until God returns and purifies this planet.

I hope nothing ever happens to all these petty critics or any one they care about. If you had a more informed viewpoint, I would not call you petty. To me you just sound like people who criticize because it has become sport in America to trash everything.

Having written what I have, I say that my purpose here is to give a message to all those worried about bringing the American soldiers home.

I do believe that three years of training is enough for the Iraqi military and Iraqi police forces to start protecting their own country. Eighteen months of those three years have being on-the-training as the Iraqi security forces conducted operations a long side of American soldiers.

Again, this is not a criticism of the president of the United States of America. I see the serious challenges that are facing the Iraqi security forces.

However, I say let the American soldiers fall back to already pacified areas and the Iraqi security forces work on the areas of upheaval. This will show if the Iraqis are ready to secure their own nation, or if they are not.

I would say that the insurgency wants power in Iraq so they can hoard the wealth of the country. I do not believe they are fighting the people’s war. First of they are not people. They are nothing but bloodthirsty savages who have no respect for human life.

I think that the only reason there are terrorist in the Middle East and insurgency in Iraq is that there is oil in this region.

We all know oil means money. You take lust for power and wealth coupled with no morality and you have a culture that can only see dollar signs and is willing to do anything in order have it all.

I say Americans are on the opposite end of the moral spectrum from Iraqis. Therefore, even though it would be a good idea for the US to have cooperated working relationships with Iraq, I do not believe that Americans will ever be able to formulate any kind of positive relationship with people of Iraq or the government of Iraq.

American and Iraqi hearts and minds are different. That is why I say that it would be a good idea to grasp reality and recognize that there will be no friendship between Iraqis and Americans.

To me this means take the opportunity to fortify Iraqi security forces and then bring the American soldiers home.

Like I said the American soldiers falling back to pacified areas while the Iraqis police work on the dangerous areas will show the readiness of the Iraqi security forces and will also train the Iraqi military and police on securing their country.

I do not offer this as a criticism of Mr. Bush. I just believe all that can be accomplished by Americans in Iraq has been reached and the rest is for the Iraqi people.
