A president ready for appeasement
Published on November 8, 2006 By jesseledesma In Politics
Well it is finished and a lot has me troubled.

First, let me say I think Mr. Rumsfeld has done an excellent job as secretary of defense.

If Mr. Bush requested his resignation because of political expediency, I have could not respect that request.

Second, I find it of great concern that at a time when America finds herself greatly threatened by vile savage militant muslins that only 40 percent of eligible voters would get involved in the process.

Today I heard the rhetoric from the right talk show host on Fox radio. The three I heard tried to justify the democrat victories in their own way.

Two were obviously distancing themselves from the Republican Party.

I, myself, asked of me why I support the Republican Party. I know I will be doing a lot of soul searching for along time.

I am not fan of injustice or unfairness. In addition, I know that you have to stand up for what you believe no matter what.

Many republicans appeared to be one thing and then changed just because they thought it was a way to win an election.

Now, the democrats are in control of both houses of the American congress and the president appears to be in a mood of appeasement.

I know the president can stop democratic initiatives by vetoing their legislation. However, I do not think it will happen.

For the first time in a long time, I am very afraid. The American people who allowed democrats to gain power have just opened the American gates to terrorist.

I for one I am at a loss. Do many Americans still not get it?

You are in fight for your own existence. This is a time for you to demand absolute service from your government.

I know democrats will pull out of Iraq and will weaken counterterrorism practices.

In my opinion, the next terrorist attack on America will be coming soon.

In addition, there is no one now to make the case for monitoring phone calls coming in from others countries, monitoring the money that goes to terrorist, has the backbone to declare war if necessary, and has the policies to produce a strong economy in order to keep funding the war against terrorism.

I think the main reason that people don't vote is tied directly to the negative ads thrown in our faces every day.

You are right, a 40% turnout is pathetic. The fact that that was celebrated for how high a turnout it was (compared to other midterm elections) is even worse.

What Pelosi and Reid will do about terrorism is anyone's guess right now. Will they make good with their promise of "a better plan"? I don't know much about Pelosi, but I know Harry Reid is a lying little pissant, so I know how far we can trust his sort of scum. What we do know is, the war on terror is in their hands now. Let's hope they face terrorism better now than they did when they were just the minority party playing schoolyard games.

Wow...I've never heard those words all together in the same sentence in that order before.

Too many American still don't get it.
The Dems will jump head first into defeat.
The Dems are incapable of taking anyone at their word - not even the islamist-facists who boldly state they want to destroy America.
