Fulfillment through God's Plan
Published on November 9, 2006 By jesseledesma In Personal Relationships
If it was not for love not one of us would bother. It is sad that most of have opted to be nothing more than programmed robots.

When we have very little experience with information we fail to learn. When we have missing information we tend to fill in the blanks. People who are making it up as they go make a lot of mistakes.

I would have to say that the most pressing issue for people in the modern world and for days to come is to not become an unnatural person.

Mention the natural man to a Christian and you will have invited a debate on creationism versus evolution.

I think what most fear as natural is just how God made us. We are biological and our biology allows us emotions, thoughts, and sensations.

It is through these facilities that we code information and get a sense of the world. Once we understand out world, (i.e. Environment) we begin to pursue our desires.

Most people want friends, family, romantic love, career success, peace, tranquility, achievement, dreams, and accomplishment.

To many of us have just been beaten up by life and are struggling or have just given up.

I say we judge no one until we have walked in their shoes. In addition, I think we should recognize that even though things may not be working out, we are still very fortunate.

We have a home, meals, clothe, employment, brain to think, heart to feel, and a body to move to action.

I have concluded that the meaning to life is simple. God did create the universe. He has a plan. He wants us involved in that plan. It wont until we find what our part in His plan is that we will find fulfillment. Through our involvement in His plan, we learn the necessary nature to be worthy of Heaven.

Strange as it might be, fulfillment, in my opinion, does not come from having everything we desire.

I would say that fulfillment (being completely filled) comes when we fall in love with God’s plan and want to willingly work in our role.

Now why did I start this conversation with natural man and programmed machines?

Nature can takes us many directions. Today I would say many of us are unaware of how to live and are living emotionally empty lives.

We are just like machines programmed by nature (environment) to perform task but not feel.

Imagine what lives we could have if we accepted the loving and living God’s plan and our role in it.

Hmm, hmm...robots? I think not...bitter bastards, I think so. Life trounces us again and again...takes away things important to us, and sometimes gives a bit back, but never enough to replace people we may have lost. We look to God to give us support...well, if you're a Christian or Jew...but it gets hard sometimes. When things seem to go to hell all at once...and you shout, "What the f#*$?" and think that we've been forsaken, abandoned, left to wallow in misery. Then we heal, everyone does...and carry the scars that life has dealt us. The heart hardens, the tears don't flow as freely....in this way we become stronger, or is it weaker? Our emotions deaden because we're afraid to become vulnerable. I've felt that bitterness...I ask you to show me someone that has a bit of age who hasn't. I admire those that can keep their faith strong through anything, as for me, that is not the case....I get angry with things I can't control, eventually I accept them...but the anger burns. Maybe love is the answer...and without it we eventually crumble...heh.

Haha...nah, far from it. Just kinda spurted out on that one...exploring the depths of the human condition is a messy business.
