Indulgence vs Godly Purpose.
Published on January 13, 2007 By jesseledesma In Religion
We do not consider many things.

I was thinking today that if I were wrong about God and religion then I would die having reached a point in my life where I value good money management, personal responsibility, and human life.

However, if I am right then many people are going to have a rude awakening in hell.

I think our own arrogance can get us in to a lot of trouble. In addition, we live in a time where we have given our selves permission to be as vicious and violent as we want to be in life.

None of these antagonistic behaviors is healthy. I firmly believe that people want to live lives free of tension and crisis.

I always start conversations about mental health with you are in charge and you can make the necessary changes to make your life what you want it to be.

Moreover, dreaming and not working to make those dreams come through is wasted time.

The reality, however is that we are not in charge. God built the universe and he is in charge. In addition, He has a plan for everyone. That is why it is more appropriate to say that God is in charge and true fulfillment in life will not come around until to you respect His authority and work at finding out where He would like you to serve.

Now, I will repeat myself. It is not my intention to get in to a religious dogfight with everyone who has harsh emotions towards God.

Another thing I have not said in a while is that “if your philosophy is so great then your life is great”.

See, we may not be in charge. However, we are a good measure on how we feel and if we are enjoying life.

At my age, I have learned that life is not about what we want. Instead, life is about what we have to do in life.

Many think all we have to do is make money and pay bills. Some have given them selves’ permission to receive intimacy from sex with out commitment.

I have yet to meet the person who has his or her cake, is eating it, and is completely happy. Now, and then I run in to gay, lesbians, and sex freaks. Let me tell you these are some of the most emotionally troubled people I have ever met.

Oh and I do not call them sex freaks. They give this title to themselves. Now why do I use them as examples of dissatisfied people trying to find a life in perversion? The reason is that if you listen to them they will tell you they are living the great utopia and indulging to their hearts content. You would think that people who are doing everything they want would be happy.

Therefore, if these experts in indulgence cannot find happiness in life what makes you think if you sell out your morals you are going to find fulfillment.

I bring this point up because many people think if they compromise their values, at least they will have some one to love.

The reality is that you may have some one in your life, but it will not bring you comfort and joy.

I believe being in tune to the plan God has for you and respecting Him as the one in charge of life will bring you joy, comfort, and fulfillment.
