Some of the issues that come from military conflict are life, death, and our relationship to God.

People who have repented of their sin and have Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior know that no matter what they confront, if they should leave this world they will be welcomed in heaven.

One of the reasons I do not write on a regular basis is that some times I do not have anything to write.

Lately, I also have realized that if I talk about anything else but Jesus Christ and salvation, I am wasting the readers’ time.

When you think about it all this political “yahooness” really has very little to do with real life.

It will affect how we live and how much of our money we will enjoy. However, it does not answer the meaning of life.

Since life is what it is all about, I think maybe we should take time to evaluate our own personal status.

The only thing that has been weighting on my soul is how the American soldiers are fairing in Iraq.

With the new troop surge I would like to see all those suicide bombs stop, the Iraqis out law all guns, ammo, and explosives, and actually security by the Iraqis.

The problem is that the American liberal news media that wants to make president Bush look bad does not report on what is actually going on in Iraq.

The following link is to the pentagon web site. I think you will get a better sense of how the Iraqis and American soldiers are progressing.

In addition, I hope this turmoil is over soon and all American service personnel are home soon.
