I wonder what we are living for. I know that the majority has managed to chip out a life with marriage and children.

It is just unfortunate that the news media only pays attention to the 20 percent or so that are experiencing a crisis.

It is even more tragic that many people allow the forces of their anxiety run their lives. I think that the majority of bad decisions we make are the result of fear.

Fear seems to make us react quickly and with very little thought. The result may be decisions that are not in our best interest.

Today, people are choosing sex over love and work obsession over the human contact. People of the future will wonder what our problem was because we did not manage an ever day mellow life filled with friends and family.

The problem is that we became egomaniacs and through out our life there was very little intimacy. People who are not thought to hug do not know how to hug. People who are not taught the right amount of intimacy for the situation at hand become social phobic and isolationist.

This results in an inability to be involved in a relationship because of not having the skills and/or not wanting to try at something they have little confidence in at all.

The obvious question will be will the human species survive or will we continue to spiral down the negative social loop.

Either way all I know is that life is empty without a romantic partner. In addition, I know that it is not healthy to jump from one relationship to another. Some where down the line we are going to have to stop running and hiding from life.

I have been standing with my head buried in the sand. It is the result of struggling so much and finally getting to the point where I do not see why I should keep bothering. Many are probably wondering what is he trying to accomplish with so much contradiction.

Well a writer’s purpose is a varied task. Some entertain. Some educate. Some try to get people to reflect on life.

I will tell you if you die alone you will of failed in life. When I started chronicling my life, my purpose was to leave my testimonial of life.

Think about how long the Internet will last. I know we have the tendency to think that the world began when we where born and will end when we die.

I follow the Christian perspective in the book of Revelations in the New Testament of the Bible. Therefore, I do not think that humanity will fry itself with nuclear weapons or be consumed by global warming. Sorry Al Gore.

I will even go further and say that even though people think we are about to face all out WWIII because of Iran, China, Russia, and Africa. Human life was many years still.

The question is what will those years be like. If today we have given up on everything, what will the future have in store?

I hope today and a hundred years from people are finding their way back to God, love, marriage, family, and community
