It was a mortal sin to criticize immigrants.

Immigration was on the lips of the talk show host and liberal news media again.

Of everything I heard, I will lend my support to the people who ask for the federal government to enforce the current laws on the books with out making any new laws and building the wall between Mexico and America.

I find this question interesting. Why hasn't the government tracked, arrested, and deported all these people in this country illegally?

To me the answer is that for many years democrats pandered to the hispanic population in america by claiming to know the struggles of the poor immigrants and making promises of assistance.

It became a mortal sin in America to say anything negative against any poor person or immigrant. During this time Americans bit their lips and sucked it up.

Now they see all that comes from one of the democrats biggest voting blocks, poor immigrants.

In addition, I think that it is to easy to blame the politicians for this mess. Politicians can only do what voters allow them to do.

you can't just blame the voters on this one

you have to include the non-voters too

Yeah, only the Democrats. The Republicans are completely innocent even though they have had the white house for six years and the congress for four. So whose fault is it?

And the reason this is being reported in the news media is because the Republican President said this was number one on his domestic agenda, to get an immigration reform bill before the fall. He talked about it in his state of the union. He gave speeches in Spanish - who is pandering again?
The real question is are the Republicans pandering to immigrants or all the businesses that rely on them for cheap labor. My guess is the businesses because they are the ones that actually give money to the campaigns.

congress for four.

Republicans had it for twelve. 1994-2006. Yeah, it's all the Democrats fault.
