The need to know and get involved.
There has to be a need to be involved with what is happening in the world and to be aware fo the part we all play in the events of the world.
In America I know there are three basic attitudes. There are people who are impationed by their beliefs. There are the luke warn people who pay semi-attention, but rarely get involved. In addition, there are the people who have better things to do than pay attention and get involved.
To me this is very catastrophic. It plays in to the hands of evil and creates an envirnment that is toxic to the true human nature.
All of us have seen news stories of disfunctional govermental systems. The one that comes to my mind is the social services office in Florida that lost a girl who was suppose to be in foster care. The girl was not in woods lost. The social service office responsible for her did not know where, in all their many locations, this girl was staying.
There cannot be any explanation for this type irresponsible behavior. However, this incident represents what we all believe about the systems of the world. This belief is that nothing works properly.
In addition, we use this belief in order to not get in vovled.
I think that it is crucial that 90% of people in the USA express their voice by voting. This does not mean that you have to agree in the status quo.
I believe that the regular, non-politicized, people share the same family, societal, and govermental values. It is unfortunate that the liberals, independents, and conservatives have high jacked the American political process.
When many people vote it makes it hard for politicians to play one group against the other. The established groups make people feel like they have to fall on one side of the arguement or the other.
However, when people empower themselves by valueing what they believe and standing up for it, then politicans will not be able to manipulate the hearts and minds of people.
And before you say people cannot be manipulated, in my customer services experiences I get the opportunites to talk to many people. Sometiimes when we are having non-business conversation some of these people want to justify some far of the center point. It does not take me more than half a minute to get them to agree to my rhetoric by showing them I disagree and voicing an alternative.
To me this means that the need to be liked and approved of is a powerful weapon when you want to change a non-commited person's point of view. In my opinion more than 70% of American voters are non-committed. If they were committed the voting numbers would look better.
Now do not get me wrong. Voting is not going to turn this world in to the perfect Utopia.
This world as we know it is destinied to be destroyed. The political, ecomonic, and social structures we are familiar with are going to stop existing.
Earth will remain. However, it will be transformed to a paradise by God. It does not matter what you and I think about this point.
I have more than had God confirm His existance to me. I do not like to be the messenger of what is coming. However, I see in myself how we have really moved so far away from God that our destiny of suffering for many years is guranteed.
Our captivity is going to be worse than the captivity of the Jews. We are beginning to see people unable to find a place in this modern economy.
Terrorism is holding the people of the world hostage to fear. People do not have a good sense about themselves. There appears to be a great inability to live pleasant and satisfying lives.
We are more ready to hate, judge, and condemm than to help each other out. What ever kindenss we once had we cannot find anymore.
The mere mention of God's name and we start foaming at the mouth. Furthermore, in all these madness, children are raped and sexual abused while we obssess on our money problems and lack of a pleasurable existance.
Our need to have conscience is important so quality and functional resources will exist for people that need them. In our involvement we help in the growth and maturity of the people in our society and remove drunk driving, work and school shootings, police abuses, and many more social ills.
By being involved, we wil also contribute to the conversation and set standards that we can use to treat a socail ill effectively and stop the status quo from contuing make victims of people.
The present status quo of govermental systems exist as a paycheck for disinterested and irresponsible people and as a politcal promotion machine.
