Kill the interlopers
Published on July 11, 2007 By jesseledesma In Politics
It has been two months into the surge of military personnel into Iraq. Since the beginning, democrats have been on both sides of the isle trying to seem as cheerleaders for the troops while they trash the president.

A while ago, the democrats challenged the president on not funding the troops unless the president accepted a pull out date. The president made them eat cake and the paper plates the pieces of their own manure was served on.

Now the democrats and the liberal news media are at it again. This time they have the support of some republicans.

The republicans were on the hill mouthing off in order to pander to their loudest constituents of war protestors. The democrats of course are all same old same old. “If you don’t pull out Mr. President we will stop funding the war.”

The news media just keeps showing the suicide bombers acts and the criticisms of the president.

First, let me say that the Sunnis and Shiite in this area have not declared all out war on each other. They were not engaged in conflict before the Americans entered Afghanistan and Iraq. I do not believe that if the American troops left that all out war would break out between these two groups.

I do believe Al Qaeda, Sunnis, Shiite in Iraq would go on a killing spree in order to control oil production and oil revenues. I do not see the problem in all these crazy lunatics killing each other off.

There is a big problem with an oil addicted American public having two of the world’s oil production areas (Iraq and Iran) in such turmoil. Iran hates Americans and Americans do not buy oil from Iran.

If all out tribal war breaks out in Iraq, Iraqi oil is not going to be mined by any one.

However, the more pressing problem is what do you do with an ally that continues to not meet your expectations.

Let me say that I no longer believe that any more Americans need to die for corrupt Iraqi politicians and corrupt Iraqi security forces.

However, America is going to continue to need associates in dealing with international issues. Now, the war with Iraq showed exactly what the definition of an ally is in the modern world. I think ever country such as France, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Russia, China, and Spain failed miserably at meeting one of the most pressing moral dilemmas of modern history. In addition, it is evident that these countries failed at this task because of narcissistic and fascist citizens and self-interested politicians looking out for their own hide.

Yes, peace is beautiful but it comes at the price of blood, sweat, and tears; not hyperbole and quasi-sophisticated rhetoric.

Moreover, I think there is a great different between Americans and other nationalities. We are in a complicated world were people are trying to indulge in every possible consumption and forget that there ever was a God.

In addition, while they call out for peace with indignation and ferocity they forget that there are very evil people in the world who will do anything to feed their lust for violence and destruction

America does not have the option of putting its head under the sand and pretending there are no real bad men. These evil pigs have declared that they want to wipe Israel and the USA of the face of the earth.

Therefore, this country has the most to loose. In addition, since the USA needs associates to meet present and future international issues the USA has to show herself as trustworthy and reliable. Otherwise, no one will trust her. The way to show trustworthiness and reliability is to finish what was started. This means the war in Iraq has to be fought to the end.

Second, Iraqi leadership and security forces are lagging behind the president’s benchmarks. Since it is not in the best interest of America to leave Iraq, I think America has to start exacting a price from the Iraqis for not meeting their obligations to the people of the USA.

This price should be steep and cost the Iraqis a lot; like 100 billion barrels of crude oil. Actually, there is no price that would pay for the Iraqi politicians and Iraqi security forces choosing corruption and violence over unity and positive and constructive behavior.

I would however, settle for the heads of ten top Al Qaeda, Sunni, and Shiite interlopers. Maybe, from now on Americans should demand from the Iraqi government the deaths of top obstacles to peace in Iraq every time they fail to meet American expectations.

This price may keep people in the Iraqi government and security forces from shielding and hiding the worst thugs in Iraq.

When has peace ever come from war? Peace comes from human beings seeking a way to resolve differences without violence and in eways that are respectful of each other. Those folks you brand as pigs are God fearing people. This is the problem with God fearing. It leads to a holy mission where each party feels justified in dehumanizing the other in order to kill them. Rhetoric? No. Reality. This is what we do in boot camp and AIT. It is part of our propagandistic language.

I don't forget there are people who do evil in the world. They exist everywhere. Here and there. Killing has no nationality, nor does starvation, oppression, rape, and all the other violence we use top support ourselves and "defend" ourselves.

There is no finish to this conflict by means of violence. The only finish will be for all of us to find a way to care about each other. Exacting a price is a sure way to create another enemy.

Be well.

Ok So ...Hilbert So American involvement inWWI and WII didn't bring peace in the world.? Moreover, the Ameican Revolution also was just a waste of time?

Fine, you can say that. But why would you?

Sunnis and Shi'ites have been at each others' throats for a thousands years, and the conflict was especially bad under Saddam:

I would say that there was _some kind_ of small little conflict before the Americans entered Afghanistan and Iraq. It's easily overlooked because the media sure don't tell you anything about it.

Most of these crazy lunatics are the poulation who are trying to survive in the fact of constant terror attacks.

If WW I and WW II brought peace to the world, then why are we not a peaceful world?

The revolutionary war was not a waste of time, but is was not necessary. War is an expedient means to an end that can be achieved in others ways. What we are not is patient, smart, and resourceful. What we are is willing to kill and maim. In the latter case, such behavior, like exploitation, causes great suffering and hatred. These do not a peace make.

Be well.

I was born in West-Berlin, under American occupation.

The only war I have seen was when I studied in Haifa, Israel. A place which was not part of World War II.

So as far as I can tell, we are a peaceful world, at least where America and Britain made their point in WWII.
