He only got in trouble when God gave him a wife.

What is life? Well I have written on this issue before. Friends, family, dreams, hope, accomplishments, achievements, goals, personal interest, needs, wants, desire, relationship with God, salvation through Jesus Christ.

Now, people respond to my observation “No? Really dummy!” You would be surprised how many people have no idea about how to live a full and pleasing life.

Many of us think that career dreams make a life. Money is needed in our society. However, God made the human to be multi-dimensional. Career is just one thing.

There needs to be socializing at different levels such as friendships and spouses. However, I would say that these are difficult times to find a good mate.

One reason is that many of us are suffering from what I call mental flue. The professionals call it bipolar disorder.

Either way God did not intend for us to live a tormented life. If you are a person who is in mental pain, cannot find pleasure in life, and wants to know what you are doing wrong read further.

Yesterday, I wrote on how our thoughts control our emotions, which consequently control our behavior.

A negative critical world where parents do not help their children develop in a manner where a person is centered and emotionally healthy leaves a lot of people who suffer and cannot be happy no matter what.

However, it is not hopeless. Here is the part where I am to tell you that God is the hope of the world.

Well He is the hope of the world. The bible verse that comes to mind is “what profits a man if he gains the world but looses his soul”.

In our pursuit for our life, which we believe we can get from material gain, we loose sight of God.

I cannot say that I know who God is to you. If you are young, you probably have no concept of God or you have a knee-jerk hate, conditioned by world full of people wanting to be their own god.

Well this God has not changed. He continues to be the same loving purposeful God who spent time with Adam.

This God did define life as personal satisfaction in relation to Him and a life of helping our neighbor.

Adam never had his mind complicated with thoughts of being a doctor or winning the lottery.

All Adam had was what God gave him. Ironically it wasn’t until God gave Adam a wife that Adam got in trouble.

However, a full life is not impossible or something to be feared. (I know I have written this last statement before.)

Age: 19
Religious: Very. Church activities several times a week.
Attitude towards God: Without him, I would be nothing.
Comment towards you: You have no idea what you are saying half of the time, and I really think that you enjoy it when people belittle you to the extent that even I start getting cautious. Please, I beg of you, stop saying such ignorant things before you get yourself in trouble with the entirety of the users on this site.

Well, if you want to go New Age you may fall into the belief that you are part of God. We have souls, yes? Are they not part of the divine? That belief falls into the "everything is connected" worldview. Probably not down Christianity's alley because it's based on an individual experience instead of a communal one. (and yes, I realize that there are some communal aspects to it, but for the most part it's based on your own relationship with God whereas other religions focus on the good of the community ahead of their own personal gain.)

Then again, that's a whole road with many different beliefs and I don't want another religious argument about this and that.
