Politics, faith, and Procrastination

RELIGION

My first thought today will be on faith and spirituality. I think that many people confuse religion with these two issues.

Let me say that people who have had a personal encounter with Jesus Christ and are sincere in their faith in God and spiritual journey with Jesus Christ do not need to prove them selves to any one.

Second, I do not believe that a person who can quote some of the Bible, has not had a personal encounter with Christ, does not go to church, has not studied the Bible, and only repeats what he has heard has any moral authority to criticize Christians.

My last point of faith and spirituality today is that if non-believers can choose not to believe then believers can choose to believe.

POLITICS

Now I will move on to politics. In case you were wondering about any Bush for Giuliani I can tell you that Giuliani was just in El Paso having a private fund raising dinner thrown for him from friends of the Bush’s.

Again, I am amazed at any Christian supporting an Abortion Rights and Homosexual Rights candidate.

Furthermore, I think I have said all I can about the current political climate. Mr. Thompson did receive the support of the National Right to Life people. I think this is good for him.

However, I still the liberal agenda-driven news media with good stories on Hillary. Remember, I have written in this BLOG that I do not see the democrats nominating a person who is guaranteed to loose.

Furthermore, I think 2008 may be the political year for the republicans. This morning on Bill Bennett’s Morning in America Mr. Bill-Bo-Bagins was saying that republicans can win with ‘National Security”, “Immigration”, and “Taxes”.

I think he is right. Republicans should remind the voters that democrats bet against America wanting her to loose in Iraq. We know democrats are soft on immigration. In addition, we know that democrats have promised to raise taxes when they win in 2008.

MENTAL HEALTH

Now I will discuss procrastination. I think that many things affect our mental health. One of those things is saying and not doing.

I really do not have to delve deep in to this issue. Many of us spend out time dreaming and not doing. Then time passes by and we are stressed about what we have not accomplished.

So, in other words, you're procrastinating talking about procrastination.

Since I know this wasn't intentionally funny (because, frankly, you're not that intelligent), it just goes to show just how little you've really got going on up top, Jesus.

Then by the same token, you have NO MORAL AUTHORITY to criticize anyone who is not a Christian, Jesus. No more criticizing Buddhists, Muslims, or anyone else for that matter.

Better just shut up then, according to your own statements.

Geeze, where to start. You probably shouldn't read my response. I am a Christian, moderate, pro-choice, gay man. So, since my background is different from yours, as I read your blog, you have no interest in what I have to say.

Ok, then, I guess I'll move on.

THAT DID MAKE ME LAUGH, ANYWAY, THANK YOU.

so your saying that if you haven't read the bible then your not a Christian. meaning no blind person can be a Christian. yes i know about books on tape. but all your doing there is listening to someone else read the bible and repeating what he/she has heard. what about people who are deaf and blind.

I am quite certain you haven't read the Bible, Jesus. Sure, you may have read PARTS of translations, but your commentary indicates to me that there's FAR more of it that you've never read than parts you have. And I am quite certain you have never read it in Hebrew or Greek. I haven't read any of the Hebrew, either (I have read some of the Greek), but I'm not telling everyone else who is and isn't Christian.

You have none.

And you're still an idiot.

Substantial enough that I don't need to post them here.

I thought you said on another thread that your bachelor's was in PSYCHOLOGY, Jesus. Now you're saying it's in theology? Big diff there!

I've had a testimony of Christ since I was about 12, so you could say I've never really been an unbeliever. Does that mean I have MORE moral authority? According to you, yes. In reality, it means nothing.

You must be REALLY wrong if Gid, Danielost and I are teaming up to make fun of you. That's like the most unlikely of allies.
