Wouldn't sacrifice a body cell for any of them.

There are a lot of serious issues. Terrorists have not decided to disappear. There are still a lot of evil people killing people all over the world.

Teen-age pregnancy, substance abuse, dropping out of school, gangs, crime, mental illness, divorce, and many other social ills are still plaguing American society.

Therefore, even though a person who turned his back on conservativeness after getting beat by George W. Bush for the presidency is on the road to win the republican nomination it does not mean that we should give up on our own personal lives.

We cannot stop the dictators and rebels who kill indiscriminately. However, we can continue to live good lives.

I say that Mr. McCain will win in 2008. Many want a soft leader in the White House because they think it is the way to avoid tension and stress. Hillary and Obama are to unattractive. Therefore, they compromise by supporting a liberal who is not Hillary or Obama, i.e. McCain.

Now, I have heard the conversation on the conservative talk shows. Under no circumstances do I believe that it is appropriate for a conservative to vote for a liberal. Neither Hillary nor Obama deserve these votes. McCain definitely does not deserve these votes.

In my opinion, the best thing conservatives can do is to abstain from voting. McCain is good at saying one thing and doing something different. There is no reason to trust him.

In addition, I do believe the next eight years will be very depressing for America. I am sure McCain plans to stick his finger in the eye of every conservative.

The war on terror will fall to the wayside. The American economy will fall. The liberal way of living (do it, if it makes you feel good) will continue to erode society. Crime will go up. People will walk away from voting.

Moreover, it is appropriate that people loose confidence when they feel betrayed by government. Liberals do not want conservatives to participate and they have the agenda driven liberal news and democrats helping them.

What is a conservative to do under these circumstances? Well short of violent rebellion, the only option is to stomach what is coming.

In addition, I do believe that an American president can be a president of a select group of Americans and not all Americans.

I have written before that I would sacrifice my life to protect president Bush. Under no circumstances would I sacrifice one of my body cells for any of the presidential contenders of 2008 in the USA.

Because....*gasp*  that means they'd be thinking for themselves...holy shit!  A free thinking person voting for who they feel is right instead of conforming to party lines...what kind of chaotic world would that be!

People thinking for themselves...horrible!  horrible!

This conservative is not going to vote for a liberal.

Why did you mention 8 years instead of 4? We could have somebody totally different in there the next time around.

Boy, that's really looking at the glass empty isn't it?
