GROWTH AND MATURITY

There may be a reason to wonder exactly what would be a good message to give to the people of the world. For some time, I have wondered about that same question myself.

It would be great if all our perceptions were real. The reality is that not much of what we think is actually true.

See our problem is that we mix our humanness in to everything. Part of this fact has to do with the fact that by living in a secular world we are susceptible to its influences. The other part is that the enemy uses our human weakness against us.

With these two facts put together, even when we want to be good servants of God we find ourselves fighting with ourselves.

That is why when we want to be nice, at peace, and kind to the world we find ourselves being mean to our neighbor, obsessed with sex, and immature.

Sin is terrible. Even worse is how many people who call them selves Christian are caught in lives of sin.

Now we all know that none of us is perfect. We were born of sin and we will fight sin everyday of our lives.

Our faith, however, should bring us closer to God and by being close to God; it should help us sin less.

God is powerful enough to clear the world of sin. However, if He does it for us than God will not have servants, but robots.

Therefore, much of our freedom from sin is in our hands. In addition, our sin practices reflect our true commitment to God.

I have not found anything that God has told us to be untrue. He is real. His wisdom is true. Life is better lived by following His instructions.

Those of us that Hope that God will take in to account our life struggles when judging our sin practices are wrong.

The Bible is a complete guide on how to live Christian lives. I have not found any where in the Bible where God tells us that he will be lenient on people who gave themselves over to sin because of hardship or turmoil.

Hence, if life is torturing you and you are giving yourselves over to fornication, adultery, “judgmentalism”, violence and aggression, immaturity, and any other sin you need to consider your attitude towards sin.

That is right. It is time to see what we are doing and how it affects our relationship with God.

We should not be standing still in our spiritual growth. In addition, we should not be moving backwards.

All of us will have to atone for everything we have done. A believer has no excuse for sin.

God has been with us and has been teaching us what we need to know. How can we say that seeing God has not changed us?

Those who are confused about their position in God’s plan may want to live with blinders on.

However, those of us that were ready to give in and were saved by God should know better.

Everyday God has something to teach us. Putting these lessons together should contribute to our growth. Recognizing what God has told us as the truth and living by this truth contributes to our maturity.
