This essay is about the reasons God will punish man and the actual punishment.  It is not intended to create anymore anti-God sentiment.  There already is to much of that.  I do however, people should be ready for what is coming.

To begin with I started this essay by reading through the book of Revelation in the King James Bible.  I think verse 9-21 says it best.  This verse states " Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their theft".

The rest of the case against man I got from the admonishment of the seven churches of Asia.  These are:

1. leaving your first love.
2. blasphemy, of them which say they are Jews and are not.
3. holding the doctrine of balam, i.e. eating things sacrificed to idols, and committing fornication.
4. being neither cold nor hot.

Now the average individual will not understand most of these.  The believer ,however, should know the significance of these statements.  See the Bible was written for believers.  What God reveals to believers in the book of Revelation is as much as a forewarning as a death sentence.  It is better to recognize God then feel His wrath.

Now the punishment is as follows:

1. being conquered.
2. death and hell power over 1/4 of earth, to kill with sword, hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
3. great earthquake, sun becomes black, moon becomes as blood, stars fall unto earth, heaven departs as a scroll, ever mountain and island is moved out of their place.
4. great men hide themselves in the dens and in the mountains.
5. hail and fire mingled with blood, 1/3 of trees burned up, and grass burnt up.
6. 1/3 of sea becomes blood, 1/2 of sea creatures die, and 1/3 ships destroyed.
7. 1/3 of rivers
8. many men die of waters made bitter.
9. 1/3 of sun, moon, and stars smitten.
10. locust that leave bottomless pit given power to torture man who do not have seal of God with scorpions like behavior for 5 months.
11. 4 angels slay 1/3 of man by fire, smoke, and brimstone.

Now one motivation for writing this essay is the comments of people who have been watching the natural disasters of late and stating that the second coming of Christ is near.  Christ will return to earth.  However, what should get from the list above is that this will be a time of great natural disasters.  This disasters will big enough to to kill 1/3 of sea life and everything else that is held in my list above.

I do believe that man is a great moral depravity.  However, I believe it is a current event and will pass.  Man always returns to his moral center.

The point I want to close with is that today or in the future any one who wants to have Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and be received in Heaven no matter what happens just has to ask Christ to be his Lord and Savior.
