They say you should check your facts before you speak. I did a simple search on the Internet on the subject of "Obama and Abortion". From this search I found out that Mr. Obama is in favor of "partial birth abortion" and "embryonic stem cell research".
Now, as I understand partial birth abortion it is when a doctor partially delivers a baby and while the head is still in the mother the doctor cuts a whole in the back of the baby's head and sucks the baby's brain out. Embryonic stem cell research is taking stem cells from embryos, which destroys the embryo.
Of course I am wondering what a so-called Christian is doing supporting the murder of the unborn. One of the things accepting Jesus Christ as my lord and savior did for me was give a more profound respect for human life. There is no reason why the Creator should want anything to do with me. Yet, he chooses to take and interest in everyone and try to help us have a good life.

You may say my life sucks. That is not the problem of God. If you listened to Him, you would see the true way to live and life would be more enjoyable. God cannot be held responsible for our whims.
However, many of us our not deep in our thought or spirituality. We have been presented a superficial understanding of life and that is what we think life is all about. In addition, even though we may see verifiable evidence in the contrary to our beliefs, we prefer to follow emotions instead of intelligence.
How do I account for Mr. Obama's claim of being a Christian yet supporting the murder of innocent children? Well, I will have to refer to the Bible. In the Bible, God speaks of many that will be in the church, but not of the church. The Bible uses the terms "wheat" and "tares". Wheat are true believers.
In my way of thinking you cannot love life, love God, and support murdering children. Your argument that you want to better life goes out the window when you are willing to destroy life. That is one of my major problems with embryonic stem cell research. None of us is going to live forever. Death is coming. Nothing is wrong with remedies that enhance life and reduce illness and death. However, when we start destroying life to preserve life we have lost our way.
I cannot say I need a heart kill that man and give me his heart. I cannot say I need a liver kill that baby and give me her heart. I say it is better to respect life and not destroy it for our whims. Again, no one lives for ever. Again we are all going to die. It is wrong to try to hold to life to the extent we loose sight of the value of life.
For me life begins in heaven. God says, "for I knew you even before you were in your mother's womb". Therefore, every embryo has been assigned a soul. In my opinion, biological life does begin at conception.
Now how do I square my belief that destroying life to protect life is wrong when I support the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. That is easy. Sometimes people give you no other option. In addition, good and moral people can never allow evil to reign. That would be the end of humanity.
Okay let me now finish my perspective on abortion. We are more then capable of preventing unwanted pregnancy. In the debate of no sex before marriage and using the rhythm method to prevent pregnancy, I vote yes. I have seen enough of life in order to say that people are not living better lives because they can use sex as recreation. In fact, most mental health studies report serious increases in psychological problems. Therefore, in a time were people feel free to practice any behavior that suits them, more and more people find them selves tortured by life.
However, try and tell people that there is a better way and if it does not involve chanting, burning incense, and/or yoga, they do not want to listen. I have personally accepted the fact that as of toady my sisters and my mother are not going to go to Heaven. They all have a philosophy that they want to cling to more than a real relationship with God. For my mother it is the Catholic church. My older sister prefers lesbianism. My younger sister is a product of the modern world which has turned her in to a person who does not believe you can believe.
Do I love these people. I am required by God to have Christian love for everyone. However, loving people is not an excuse to turn your back on God. My mother's husband, who is now on the run from the law for allegations of sexual abuse of a child, once asked me who was more important my mother or God. Right in front of her, with out hesitation, I answered him "God".
His intent was to ridicule my faith. Several days before I had heard him talking to one of his friends about me being a Christian and how Christian are the worst hypocrites. Moreover, I find it interesting that such a pious catholic is now facing criminal prosecution for abusing a child.
Now, this has been a stressful time for the family. Never, does one imagine that these type of people will enter their lives. In addition, I am not criticizing the Catholic church. Any abuse of a child is unforgivable and nothing to laugh at any time. In fact, if I was to get my hands on this guy, I would teach him how he made those girls suffer before I called the cops. My answer to the police would be he got bruised when I wrestled him to the ground.
See, I to wish life was better. Many times I wonder if humanity has what it takes to be decent. Every where I look I see nothing but people who given themselves over to their perversions.
On my way to work I can across the realization that we have the lives we deserve. We avoid God like the plague. Life is all about how we can scam to get what we want. In our pursuit of life we violate morality and ethics. Therefore, how can we complain when we are the reason our lives are miserable?
Why is American politics in such a miserable state of affairs? Well because of us. People who vote and people who do not vote are the problem. I am seriously concerned about people who are carried away by the political winds. A person should know his or her morality well and know the issues better. It is not a constitutional right to kill unborn children. Turning over the personal gains of productive citizens over to the few lazy and weak will kill the incentive to produce. Mr. Obama will not be a better president because of his skin color.
In fact, all his skin color has done is given him a skewed perception of reality. He graduates from college, works as professor, gets elected as a state senator and US senator, and gets nominated for presidency but the white man has it in for black men.
Now I am going to explain why I made a point in an earlier article to state there are no black men. The premise is that because people are "black" they have been denied opportunities. Well there aren't any people with black pigmentation. Therefore, your premise is wrong.
Of all the college course I hated, I really hate philosophy. I don't care what Socrates and Plato said. They are dead. However, I do remember one detail of philosophical debate was that if your premise is wrong, your argument is wrong. Therefore, the argument that black men are owed something because they were denied opportunities because of their skin color is a fallacy.
In life all you are owed is what you earn. I live in world with lawyers, college professors, doctors, police, taxi drivers from all cultures and races. If you [ain't] making it, something other then your skin color is responsible. I say it may have to do with your miserable attitude.
Now, this is not a vulgar criticism. To many of us have been conditioned to a sick perception of life. Life does not owe you anything. You owe you. People, not cause they are white and privileged, will try to screw with you. That is what people do. In order, to compensate for his miserable existence man tries to make everyone more miserable than he. That is a human condition and has nothing to do with skin color.
The best thing a person can do is wise up to how life works, stop trying to make life fit some mold of justice, and start working to have real accomplishments, instead of just complaining.
