Does everyday have to be about politics?  Well, there are a lot more things going on in life.  I have been thinking about love and marriage.  It has been a while since I wrote about that subject.  I also have not written the article I want to write about what I mean by positive vs negative attitude. 

Actually I want to give examples on how to change our thinking from a negative perspective to a positive perspective.  For example instead of saying “ I will never love again, This person was perfect for me.” We can tell ourselves, “it was sad I lost.  However, I am still a person worthy of love and as long as I am willing to learn from this experience, next time I will be wiser and more prepared to succeed.

Now, why would an article on this subject be so important? I am convinced a lot of our troubles have to do with bad attitude.  Life teaches us to be negative.  However, all the negative does is make a person push life away.

Having said that I must admit that America is in a political crisis.  Before, I go on let me say I heard today on the radio that sales in America grew to 3.8% and that the dollar is gaining value.  Again, I ask where is this economic crisis.

It is in the minds of the democrats.  They, along with their liberal friends at the news networks are going to try an convince Americans that there is an economic crisis in America.  Ok, the negative here would be fear of high gas prices and high food prices.  The positive would be let me pay of some bills and be more responsible with my money in order to afford the increase in food.  I once had a job I would walk to from my home.  I would go to the grocery store on my bike.  See, that would be a positive way of dealing with a challenge.

Gas companies are not going to do you or me any favors.  They want to make as much money as possible and they have bought and paid for Congress.  Therefore the only person who can stop them is the consumer.  I think this is the right time to completely get the oil companies out of our lives. In order to do this the consumer has to refuse to purchase any vehicle that is not a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle.

Hybrids still use gas.  Turning the market over to hybrids will mean less oil consumption.  However, oil companies will raise prices to compensate for their reduced profits.

Electric cars are going to increase electric use, which will increase need for oil.  In addition, utilities will increase prices just because they know drivers need their product.  In other words utilities will behave just like oil companies have for the last 30 years.  As long as they have the driver in a “can’t do without” situation, they will increase prices in order to profiteer.

Now I am not against profit.  I am against taking unfair advantage of the consumer.  There is a difference.

Just like Obama trying to attack everyone who criticizes him.  Mr. Obama has many faults.  The voters need to know about these faults.  His ranting and raving about being attacked are just attempts to hide the facts.

Today, Rush Limbaugh was talking about how the Obama camp is alleging that Limbaugh was the first to spread rumors about Mrs Obama. However, Limbaugh was able to show the real source of the rumor.  This turned out to be Mrs. Obama herself.

In addition, Obamas new tax plan is to charge higher payroll taxes to people making more than 200,00.  Again high income earners already pay more taxes.  How about reigning in spending.

I am going to tell you why universal healthcare will not work.  The cost is to much for the American tax payers.  Creating a system were the money going in is less then the money coming out is creating a system that will fail.

Things needed for universal healthcare are price control and salary control.  Anyone who does sense their income generating power is in their hands will not perform.  Companies that cannot generate income by managing their prices will not give good service.  How often do you want to kick your mail delivery person in the Pauly Wallnuts?  Me, almost everyday.  Don’t these people know how read?

Moreover, the quality of care in a system that does not reward the best and treats poor performers the same as better qualified doctors brings in question the quality of medical care.  Will the surgeon in the operating room be the best qualified to save your life or just some one going through the motions to get his government paycheck?  I want that surgeon motivated to keep the money I will pay him by not doing anything wrong that will cause me to sue him in to oblivion.

I think every person should start a “health maintenance account”.  Okay, the parent will have to start it.  However, that is what is needed.  People who recognize the cost of life and prepare for life before they make a baby.  I think it is called being responsible.

The part government can play is education. Why isn’t there classes that teach public school students about what is required to get a good paying job, how much raising children cost, and being able to adapt to changes.

For me all government can do is promote good ideas and make sure the free market economy is not interfered with in America.  Now, I must be honest and admit I do not get sick often, I have not had any major illness, and I do not live a lifestyle were I am endangering my health. Maybe I would have a different perspective I had huge medical bills to pay.  However, I am the only one responsible for my life.
