You pick up a newspaper and you would swear it is hopeless. Today mad cow. Yesterdday weapons of mad destructions. Don't we have enough in our everyday lives without having the problems of the world impose more stress on us?

Personally, I stopped treating the news as the source for security and spiritrual medicine. There was a time when I needed to be aware of everything that happened on this rock we all are shipwrecked on.

Them, through a personal transition in life, I realized that it is foolish to give so much attention to stuff I cannot control. I believe in being invclved. I also think that America would be a better place if more people voted.

I cannot see myself glued to the TV like some news junkie while marketing companies try to brain wash me for the companies that want my money.

As it is I do not make enough. Then I work people who suffer from vanity problems. Every one is trying to look better than everyone else. All I want to do is do a good job and enjoy my time off.

I know that some of what makes news may one day effect my life dramaticaly. However, as Christ said " who by worrying can add one more second to their life?"

How damaged are we? We are given time off but we do not know how to feeel good.

Naw! That is enough! I renounce being a company dog or a debtor. I know how to be a good person and people's negative energy should not affect me.

If I want to smile, laugh, and not be a vulgar gutter mouth, why can't I? No more looking down at my neighbor, criticising negatively, our seeing things as hopeless.

The answer to the question " what would happen if they threw a war anybody came" is simple. There would be no war.

Therefore, if we do not bite than it does not matter how many dirty looks we get from our co-workers, how hard the news media attempts to get an audience with sensationalsim, or how much companies advertize.

All we can do is take one day at a time and take no thought of tomorrow. Let tomorrow work itself out. GCJ
