Identifying the war of opposition

The news medias reports on the actions of people may bring discontent and anger to our hearts.

I personally stop and take note when I hear a news report of another Palestine suicide bomb in Israel. I am also rather concerned about the terrorist actions of militant muslins.

However, I do not believe that all people in a culture share the same heart or passion for violence as those that act violently.

I have confidence that the average person just wants to lead his or her life without complications from other people’s politics.

That is why I believe it is up to peaceful people to remain peaceful and not allow rumor or news reports to make them be unhappy or angry with people from another culture.

I was watching a Christian program where the speaker was talking about what the Muslim religion is according to the Koran.

This speaker was not wrong. However, I was concerned at how easy it would be to develop and attitude against muslins from hearing the message this speaker was delivering.

Violence and tragedy will always be a part of the world. We do not make the world any safer by developing attitudes against each other’s cultures.

I personally see terrorism as an industry. There are people in the world who make money by fanning the flames of opposition.

If you want to support immigration then they will oppose you just so they can have a place in the debate. This way they can get attention and money.

In terrorism, there are leaders who oppose Israel and her friends. This opposition gains them followers and most important money from donations.

Now and then in order to keep the donations coming in they commit a violent act.

The unfortunate reality is that the media gets involved and starts to report of the perceived injustices of one group against another when in reality the violence that is seen is due to individuals leading the opposition in order to make money.

I do not believe that what is going on in India, Pakistan, Israel, Iraq, Liberia, or anywhere else there is war has any thing to do with ideology.

I see these troubled areas as places where greedy and unscrupulous people lead the opposition with violence in order to get money, not because they are fighting to correct an injustice.

It is unfortunate that as we watch the news reports about what is happening in these areas we began to develop a bad attitude against the group the news media identifies as the aggressor.

There are true aggressors in the world they are behind the scenes, stirring the soup of opposition in order to feed their greed.

I agree. There are wacko extremist in any religion. Jim Jones and David Koresh were Christians. Most people did not allow them to convince them that all Christians were wacko extremist. At least the Saudi government is now starting to crack down on the calls to violence by Muslim clerics. It's a start.
