The future may bring more dissatisfaction with life. It can also bring about peace and tranquility.

I am writing this article with the thought of what should be the individual life goal in the modern world. This is important because in order to get somewhere you have to know where you want to go.

For a while I have been concerned that our modern world tells people that they must become a college graduate and purchase a certain standard of living. This concerns me because there seems to be no respect for people who do not fit this pattern.

Now, you will help yourself a lot, if you get a college degree. You will have greater choice in jobs available to you. In addition, your income potential will be better.

The rest involves life. Here in lies another of my concerns. In America, I see a good effort at getting people in to education and careers. However, there is a lack of effort in helping people live normal, enriching, pleasurable, and satisfying lives.

There is a great possibility that people growing up in the next twenty years may know who to succeed in business, but not know how to succeed personally.

Therefore, what should the life goal be for us? I write this very well aware that if I am to continue to write I am going to have to Give God the credit He deserves.

I say this knowing how hard it is for people to be tolerant of God. This is unfortunate. God only wants to share His love for our benefit.

Moreover, before you criticize so harshly ask yourself one question. If you needed surgery to save your life would you go to a person who thinks they are a good surgeon because his or her personal meditations, observations, and conclusions? I think that most people would want a qualified person, who has studied and practice his or her craft.

The importance of the question is that if you would not choose a surgeon based on his or her own ideas on surgery why would you trust your own conclusions about God. Are not these conclusions based on personal, meditations and observations?

I used to be a person who thought he was qualified to define God. This position I took even though I never read the bible, went to church, or spoke to people of faith. Now I know better.

In addition, I know that the quality of person’s life is a reflection of the relationship they have with God. .

Therefore, for me the goal we should strive for is to have a good relationship with God. This will help in meeting the challenges in life. There will be hardships, but God allows us to see that we will preserver.

Life requires vision, insight, dreams, and work. I tell people to build with their dreams. Most of human endeavor starts with a dream.

Moreover, the majority of people in any culture know what needs to be done and every day they get to the business of getting it done.

However, there is a small percentage of the population that for whatever reason are confused and suffering.

Life is also about formulating a cause, building a marriage, and raising God-fearing children.

In addition, this is not a bad thing. That we cannot see how marriage and family give us a purpose does not mean that these elements have no value.

However, we have to buy in to the value of love, romance, and family. I can remember when I used spew philosophies that had no supportive evidence.

Now, I know what people need is basic common sense and tried and true principles. I do not know how we lost sight of the simple and basic life. However, I am convinced that we have to settle down, be grateful for what we have, and praise God for his mercy and grace.

Furthermore, I will say it again, if your philosophy in life is great than your life is great. I think this is a good measure of the quality of life. The value of our philosophy should be measured by the quality of our life.

We are the only ones that know how we feel when we wake up in the morning. Are we looking forward to our day or do we wake up groggy and regretting that we even woke up?

There is comfort and assistance for all those who find themselves lost and without direction. There is hope for all those who are hurting from a lack of enjoyable life.

God is the hope of the world. He sent His son down to earth to die on the cross for our sins. Even in today’s complicated world, God can be your answer to a torturous life.
