If you are going to give a message to people, you have to have a message to offer. However, though I see people in a crisis, I have nothing to say.
Whom am I kidding? I always have something to say.
In addition, I do have a sense that people do have joy in their life and that is good enough. I know it would be great if all people had joy, but that may be too much to ask for.
After all some people just want to be miserable.
However, the real problem is that we are moving forward but we are not advancing. I have never seen the human condition under such horrible situations.
Every single one of us is a phony, immature, and irresponsible child. In fact, we can blame ourselves for the tragedies of the world.
People in this country have had the opportunity to get involved in how this country is managed by government.
Yet even today with so much going on people still refuse to get involved in what is going on around them.
I am not saying that Americans control or should control the world. However, business people with the help of politicians create conditions that can have detrimental effects in our lives.
American investors have dreams of starting businesses in the Middle East so they pressure government officials to negotiate governmental relationships that may assist them in conducting business in these countries. Then people who stand to loose their economic niche get radicals all worked up about the American evil and them we have terrorism.
Okay maybe I over simplified the issue. There really is no reason or excuse for terrorism. It is evil conducted by the filth of humanity.
However, all of us contribute to the human condition. I am wondering if we really are giving our best. I do not see it.
Furthermore, in my opinion, I think it is tragic how many people are living their lives pretending everything is okay.
We have fallen in to the gutter and we are trying to burry deeper. Where we were meant to be a shinning light of decency and kindness, we have become angry and bitter people who are obsessed with money and our own arrogance.
In reviewing the issues of the day, we all think we know what the problem is. For the most part I would say people have good insight. People are basically decent in nature and look for the good in life.
However, when in a group, people revert to repeating what they have heard in the news.
I hate to be the barer of bad news, but the news industry is an industry that wants to make and believes it can do so by gauging the attitudes of their viewers.
Right now in my opinion, the news industry thinks that we are a bunch of narcissist who can be entertained with sarcasm and negative stories. Oh and they are heavily liberal. I have not met a liberal or democrat I did not want to run over with my car.
Their philosophy of do anything you want and do not worry about the price has many getting pregnant in their teens, dropping out of school, and waiting for a hand out. The ironic thing is that no successful person got there by being irresponsible and indulgent.
Therefore, why tell young people that it is okay to have sex, drink alcohol, do drugs, and cuddle them when they misbehave if that is not how they lived their lives.
Oh yeah it is so they can have the last word and say that they are right. In the mean time the human experience suffers.
However, I will say it again, we are not responsible for the world. We are responsible for our selves.
We are the ones that control our thoughts and emotions. In these troubling times I would tell people to be real about your true standing and appreciate what they have.
