THE NEWS IN REVIEW

IMMIGRATION

You shouldn't reward people who by their mere presence have prooven that they have no respect for your laws.

If you are going to initiate a guest worker program first charge a comfortable fee (tax) to applicants and restrict people who have already entered illegally from applying for a guest worker visa.

I say that part of the problem is the quality,or lack there of, of the law enforcement agents who have the responsibility of arresting illegal immigrants.

I see to many parked border patrol vehicles.

Fences are not necessary. You need a metal twenty foot wall maned by armed guards.

Government EAVESDROPPING

As far as the government spying on people in concerned it does not appear that anything sinister is going on. This is not spying in order to find out what magazines Americans are reading or what web sites they are visiting.

There are real threats to the American people. You should be prepared to do what ever it takes to find the enemy and stop him.

This does not mean that the American constitution should be thrown out the window. I say Americans be vigilant, help your government, and protect the value of the constitution.

IRAQ

In Iraq, I see the Sunnis as the problem. It is good that they are finally playing along. However, I would have no problem in the Kurds and Shiites isolating the Sunny if these people continue to obstruct progress, growth, and freedom.

Bush has now admitted he authorized the NSA to spy on Americans without the required court orders. He justifies this action to protect the United States. The truth is that there is a LEGAL process in place that allows the very same Wire Taps. Bush authorizes a process that bypassed the legal option and violated the Constitution of the United States.

Bush has set himself so that he is ABOVE the law of the United States. It is time that Mr. Bush be forced to obey the laws or removed from office! The President has a responsibility to protect our country within the Constitution of our country!

He needs to turn around and drum on his own friggin' head, at least until he drums some sense into it.

Aye, there's the rub, you can't exclude everyone and have peace. Your brush is too wide.
