Currently, us cab drivers, are in negotiatiions with the city of El Paso Texas city council. The issues are what cab drivers charge and how they are to be regualted. I know some of you like to critcize. Therefore, I would like to know if you believe that Taxi Drivers who are self-employed independent business agents should be allowed to set their own prices. Here, in El Paso Texas Taxi services are provided by people who work for themselves. We are not employees of any comapny. ...

I do not believe voting republican will help in the congressional elections of 2006. I see a political system that has become all about politicians lying to get in to office in order to disregard the citizen while they hustle some pay back for them selves. When I was thinking about the dilemma the American people have about who to put in congress in 2006 I can to three conclusions. One, people need to get out and vote. Two, people need to run voter registration drives. Three, ...

I some times wonder why any rational human being would get them selves involved in American politics. Let us face it. The liberal news media is going to make your life miserable. The more sad fact is the immature people who cannot think for them selves and follow the diatribe of the liberal news media as if it was the Holy Grail. I wish people had a better sense of themselves and how life functions. It seems that the pettiness of so many people keeps anything from being accomplished i...

It is sad to say it but congress is going to Mickey Mouse the immigration issue again. I have seen the American government get all vent out of shape on immigration before in my life. Usually, the “politicos” come out all angry and indignant. Then they start to see the news stories of the supposed hardship these immigrants face. After a few months they get so scared of being called heartless and loosing their office that they find a way to reward illegal immigrants. The American tax payer w...

This entry is on the current immigration debate in the USA. On all debates it is important to me to be fair and correct as I possibly can. I was born in Mexico. At age four my family came over to the American side. I am grateful they did. In my opinion Mexico has become a cesspool of corruption and violence. The politicians keep making news for how much they steal. News reporters are constantly gunned down. We keep hearing of complete American families being found tied, gaged, and sho...

I knew I would be spending a lot of time on politics. It just seems that things just keep popping up that get my attention. In addition, I do not believe that we get to spend our life just watching life as a spectator. Everything politicians do will in one way or another affect our lives. It will influence how much we can earn, learn, and do. Currently what is on my mind is a report from Focus on the Family on a woman who made claims that stay at home moms are a danger to society o...

I have been sitting in my stinky cab these last few days looking at all the people coming in from Mexico to the United States thinking if they get it. I am sure the majority of the people are ignorant of the issues of our time. Many here do have something to say. However, when you listen to them you can see that all they are doing is regurgitating the old tired democratic “your poor and you need us” lies. Of course if you ask some of these people about what is going on in America I ...

If you could read the thoughts of people, you would hear of their failures, hopes, and aspirations. Everyday all of us spend time going over our lives, sifting through what we are struggling with and what we desire. When we come to a thought that leads to a positive road, we encounter joy. There is something enriching about being able to count on something good happening in life. Sort of what makes us human is our dreams. These dreams keep us moving and working to earn our trophy. H...

When you look at it for what it is you have to acknowledge that the president had some very good initiatives from 2004 to the present. I am in agreement that social security, illegal immigration, and terrorism are the great American challenges of our time. According to the SSI office if I reach 70 years of age, I can expect a whole 667 dollars. One, I don’t think I will live that long and two I couldn’t make it on such a small amount today, much less pay for a life that is going to cos...

For a long time the Iraq security forces have been trained for service. The fact that there is serious violence in Iraq has to do with Iraq security personnel being interested in serving a loyalty to tribal gangs then to serving the citizens of Iraq. The previous described condition is an Iraq problem. However, it is very smart of the president to not tip his hand as far as what he is going to do in Iraq. If the president told the Iraqis that they had 8 months to get it in gear, you can...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we are all going to hell in a hand basket. I acquired my sense of American politics like everyone else; looking at news stories. For a time I thought that there was no way any could have a more cynical opinion of politicians and politics them I. I think I still hold my crown. However, ever sense revelations of a republican politician trying to get his groove on with a 17 year old page can to light I have been hearing all the talking heads go ...
